Hi, I’m Sam! I’m originally from the midwest but moved to New York City to pursue the arts. I have since been fortunate to work in diverse creative roles around the country, from staging high-end apartments in Manhattan to designing and managing an Airbnb property on an idyllic lakeside. My hands-on experience has also included leading branding and design projects for a multifaceted regenerative agriculture operation, to being a personal assistant to the owner of a series of charming Brooklyn stores and cafes.

Over the last few years, I’ve worked closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, sourced interior and product materials, constructed digital 3D models and mockups, created custom art and furniture, and honed my creative eye. In each role, my goal has always been to embrace a growth mindset, solve problems, and create beauty that reflects the individual's vision and personality.

2024-Present

Private Client -

Remodel & Redesign 

Interior Designer

  • Collaborated with clients to understand their vision, translated it into a cohesive design plan, delivered a result that elevated the property value and achieved 100% client satisfaction.

  • Made all design decisions for the remodel and redesign of a 1500 sq ft ground floor, including the redesign of six rooms, a complete kitchen remodel, and the addition of an open-concept. 

  • Selected all materials, finishes, and furnishings, including cabinetry, countertops, appliances, flooring, lighting, paint colors, furniture, and decor.

  • Conducted site visits and inspections, ensuring design integrity and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

2024

Private Client - Apartment #4 

Interior Designer

  • Created a customized aesthetic theme to the clients preferences, developed a detailed 3D staged model, took feedback and made adjustments until client approval.

  • Designed and created custom furniture and art pieces tailored to the client's vision, sourced all other furniture, decor, and supplies within project aesthetics and budget.

  • Managed the installation and on-site adjustments of all design elements and successfully achieved complete client satisfaction.

The Mother Farm

Product & Brand Designer / Creative Consultant 

  • Developed a cohesive brand identity, designed a logo, business cards, product labeling material, and merchandise.

  • Produced custom video marketing materials that enhanced brand recognition and assisted in boosting the online community engagement by more than 200% .

  • Continued to maintain brand consistency and creative alignment by consulting with the farm on all design-related decisions for new and ongoing projects.

2023-2024

Anette Bruno - Business Owner

Personal Assistant 

  • Assisted the owner with a diverse range of both business and personal tasks including, branding and packaging design, creating in-store displays, web design, social media management, and managing personal errands.

  • Oversaw product inventory and scouted new offerings from independent sellers, ensuring a rotating and high-quality offering of unique products for customers.

  • Adapted quickly to last minute needs- stepped in behind the counter and in the kitchen during staff shortages, picked up and delivered essential supplies, and ensured operations ran smoothly.

Private Client - ADU Rental
Interior Designer

  • Designed a floor plan for the unfinished ADU, created a digital design model, selected materials and finishes including flooring, paint, and appliances.

  • Coordinated an appropriate aesthetic theme, designed, sourced, and installed all furnishings and decor, successfully crafting a functional and appealing rental space.

  • Created and listed the unit on Airbnb, managed all online booking operations, guest correspondence, and scheduling. 

  • Assisted in earning the listing a 4.96 star rating with over 50 reservations within its first season.

  • Planned, created, and scheduled all social media content enhancing brand visibility and engagement across all platforms.
